Purpose and fundamental direction

This is a personal, non-commercial publication containing articles, commentary, projects, poetry, music and other artistic work by Jupp Stüger, including work published under the artistic name Urundgaard Sonderbar.

Its fundamental direction is the personal and independent examination of science, technology, philosophy, art, politics, society, the human condition and their intersections.

Opinions expressed on this site are my own and do not represent my employer or any other organisation with which I may be associated.

Hosting and technical connection data

This site is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare Pages, a service provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, California 94107, USA.

When the site is accessed, Cloudflare processes technical information required to deliver and protect it. This may include IP addresses, traffic-routing data, system configuration information and information about requests to and from the site.

This processing is based on the legitimate interest in providing a secure, reliable and technically functional website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. I do not use this information to identify individual visitors or create visitor profiles.

Cloudflare may process information outside the European Economic Area. According to Cloudflare, relevant transfers are protected through mechanisms including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Analytics, cookies and embedded content

This site does not currently use visitor analytics, advertising trackers, visitor profiling or embedded third-party players and widgets. It does not intentionally set cookies.

External services such as YouTube, Suno and GitHub are linked using ordinary links. Information is sent to those services only when a visitor chooses to follow such a link. Their own privacy policies then apply.

Email contact

If you contact me by email, the information you provide is processed only to handle and respond to your message. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in responding to correspondence.

Correspondence is retained only for as long as needed to handle the matter and fulfil any applicable legal retention obligations.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions of applicable data-protection law, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.

Changes to this information

This page will be updated if the site introduces analytics, embedded services, interactive features or other processing of personal data.
