Interests and questions
I am interested in science, technology, philosophy, art, politics, society, the human condition, and the many intersections between them.
Much of what appears on this site begins with an observation or question that I cannot quite leave alone. Writing is one of the ways in which I examine those questions and try to arrive at a clearer position.
Writing and projects
My writing consists primarily of articles and opinion pieces, alongside poetry and other prose. The subjects vary, but they generally return to how people understand, organize and affect the world around them.
The projects section contains software, experiments and other things I build while exploring an idea.
Urundgaard Sonderbar
Urundgaard Sonderbar is the artistic name under which I publish music, lyrics and other creative work. It is part of my work rather than a separate person or identity.
More recently, I have been exploring AI-assisted music-making and the broader process of creating and publishing work on YouTube. I remain responsible for the concepts, choices, curation and final publication of work released under the name.
